Boosters - bad feature

I love Hay Day, Ive been playing for years now.
I was really disappointed in the Boosters feature. I chose some boosters as my reward in the Derby (Champion League), and tried to use them for the next derby, only to find out they cost diamonds to activate. So I spend diamonds on Tom and try to win in the derby, only to get rewards that cost money to use? So lame.
